    How Time Flies !!

Wednesday, May 7, 2008, 11:10 PM EST [General]

It's been ages since I last posted and so much has happened.

My partner Mike and I won our doubles league for the 06-07 season.  It was cool to get the trophy and all the related spoils.  Thanks to John Tauginbaugh for getting the trophies.

I was on the winning team the last 2 summers on Thursday AM's too.  Thanks to Dottie, Boss and Mary Lynne.

    This year I had a bunch of 700 sets and back on 4/9, I threw my 1st 300 !  Now I want the 800 set !

This was a great season, I just wish I'd bowled better in November.  My partner Bill and I might've made the roll-off.  We finished 2nd in the 1st half and 3rd in the 2nd half.  I also got most improved average, but wasn't expecting it.  I threw a bunch of 700's and the 300 was the topper, but what could beat that?

I joined the Amateur Bowler's Tour (Philadelphia) back in the Fall (07) and I'm getting along there too.

No leagues over the summer.  I want to help my daughter get better and get her set for the 08-09 junior league.

Last 3 weeks on the lanes have been good.  698, 726 and 705.  I've made up for November and a little more.  Next is the bowl-off in April.  That should be fun.  Until then I just want to keep going with the good numbers.
